Rebecca comes to myMD with 18 years of medical operational experience. She is a certified paramedic and firefighter and has worked alongside Dr. Kaskel since 2005.

Rebecca's Story

Rebecca is a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional who has worked as a medical assistant at Northwestern for the past 18 years. Previously, Rebecca worked as a paramedic and firefighter, showcasing her commitment to serving others in times of need. Seeking a new challenge, she joined Dr. Larry Kaskel's team, and since then her passion for patient care has only grown.

In 2021, Rebecca discovered a new passion for bodybuilding, and it quickly became an integral part of her life. She found immense joy and fulfillment in the sport and decided to pursue her personal training certification through the esteemed National Academy of Sports Medicine. Equipped with her expertise, she now combines her medical knowledge and personal training skills to guide patients on their wellness journeys, encouraging them to lead healthy and active lifestyles.

Beyond her medical and fitness pursuits, Rebecca is also an avid tennis player. Starting at the age of 10, she honed her skills on the court, fostering a competitive spirit and discipline that she carries into her work. Additionally, she finds great joy in being a supportive parent and can often be found at softball fields, enthusiastically cheering on her daughter and her teammates during weekend games. Rebecca's multifaceted background and genuine enthusiasm for healthcare make her an invaluable asset to our team, ensuring that each patient receives the utmost care and guidance in their pursuit of optimal well-being.
