Larry's Story
I started my medical career at Rush Pres St Lukes's as a resident in internal medicine in 1991. After completing my medical training, I started my own internal medicine practice at Rush. Then, newly married in 2000, I moved to Highland Park and started working for Deerpath Medical Associates and Lake Forest Hospital. Two years later, Dr. Monika Mclain and I started Deerpath Primary Care in Vernon Hills, which was acquired by Northwestern Medicine in 2012.

I now start my next chapter at myMD Direct Primary Care where I can focus on spending real quality time with my patients without having to deal with you like we are all on an assembly line.

When not seeing patients, my wife and I are in constant motion, playing paddle tennis, tennis, and pickleball as partners and sometimes against one another. Who is the better player? Well, that depends on whom you ask.
“The trust my patients place in my skill and judgment is the highest and most significant honor I have ever received.”
